[ He shivers a little, but his eyes never leave Intensity's face as his fingers trail along the length of his jaw. ]

He flushes (also just a little).

But also he is a CEO of a billion dollar corporation that managed to a hide space station (and elevator) as a personal expense trying to devise a ceremony worthy of 3,000 year old royalty.

Focus please.

As he tilts his head to kiss King's fingertips]

You've had that for a while now.

Do keep up.

[ His fingers twitch just slightly against him.

Focus!! ]

True.

But we both know I'm greedy and insatiable.

So make a wish list. I'll bring it back down to earth for you, Your Excellency.

[Said lightly as he continues to run his fingertips lightly over King's clothing.

Fool. He doesn't actually need measurements. He already has the schematics for AI Atem in his head. Down to the last. strand. of. annoying. hair.]

Unless you'd prefer a surprise.

[ As if King's about to call him out? Never. ]

Why can't I get some of both?

Greedy and insatiable indeed.

[He crosses his arms and rests them in King's lap, chin propped one hand]

So I see you want options.

Well, duel? Check. Dragons? Check? Your royal nostalgia? Check.

[Note to self: Research Egyptian weddings... especially royal ones]

Am I to get a cake? A Taisho to be Master of Ceremonies. A proper dueling backdrop. Perhaps some stands for your cheerleaders to get first row seats to your defeat.

Cakes are overrated, as are officiants and spectators.

[ He threads both hands into Intensity's hair, fingers dragging along his scalp. ]

The spectacle of you is more than enough.

[But King. He's used to giant holographic laser shows broadcasted to a city of millions just to talk about how he's going to dig up your grave and challenge your vessel to a card game.

The sky is literally the limit.

But he doesn't argue about the simplicity of it (he'll complicate it later), tilting his head into the touch with a soft sigh]

Then if I'm taking care of your wardrobe, you can choose mine.

It's only fair.

[ Guess that's what lives are for, right?? ]

How generous. I'd better not waste the opportunity.

[ He tilts his head, considering him ]

I'll have to come up with something suitably grand for you . . . though the current outfit isn't bad.

Isn't bad, he says.

[Intensity laughs, eyes peering up to look at King]

Well, I suppose the point of a rival is to get better each turn. Challenge accepted.

Oh, was that sentiment not strong enough?

[ His lips curl as he pulls one hand away, offering it palm up. ]

[Is it bad to use the Game Genie all the time?

Intensity sure doesn't think so as he traces the pads of his fingertips up the back of King's hand before lacing their fingers together]

[ Good.

The thrumming of pure warmth, elation, fondness, attraction hit Intensity like a wall -- just like King physically hitting him as he throws his weight at him, dragging him into a rough kiss. ]

[Down they go on a heap on the floor, Intensity laughing (or perhaps wheezing is more accurate) as his kisses back, sloppy and unfocused. Caring much more about the warmth coming though the bond, tightening his grip on their tangled hands, and reaching up to place his other hand at the nape of King's neck. A reflexive motion to make sure King doesn't hit his head.

And well---

Intensity's feelings are, for perhaps the first time ever, strangely less complicated than King's.

He's just happy.]

[ Intensity? Happy?

Is this a never-before-seen feat?

King grins into the kiss, and it takes him at least two tries to pull away enough to speak. ]

Do I get to peel you out of this outfit?

[He arches up to follows King retreat, but then pauses as he speaks. Takes a brief moment to glance above King's head - back at the altar.]

Yes. However patience, Your Excellency.

[And he taps a finger to King's lips in time with his words]

There. is. just. one. more. thing.

[ Maybe King finally understands Intensity's confusion that night he gave him the ring and the thumbdrive.

What could be more important???? ]

What . . . ?

Since you're already wearing my ring, I had to think of something else worthy of the occasion.

[Intensity lifts his hand from the back of King's head (perhaps a little disappointed that he's showing this card up his sleeve now) -- and with the familiar silver-blue spark of technomagic, three of the golden roses on the altar practically fly into his hand.

As if by magic--- I mean, magnets.

And presents them to King]

Hold these for me.

[ He blinks at the roses when they seemingly just appear in Intensity's hand, then glances over his shoulder at the altar.

He reaches out to take them, of course, but he's still clearly taken aback. ]

Is this -- a new toy of yours?

[He lets King hold two, tucking the third one above King's ear]

Not as satisfying as your Buddy Bond upgrade, but it does what I need it to do.

[Intensity reaches up to trace the petals on the rose above King's ear, the metal twisting and reshaping at his touch. Ah, good ol' metal-bending.]

This one, too.

[ --!!

He can feel the metal moving more than see it, but the concept is pretty clear. ]

Ah . . .

[ Having metal move around (seemingly of its own accord) on your head is unnerving, did you know ]

[Intensity pauses, the back of his hand trailing down King's cheek as he tries to draw his attention away from the metal]

Would you rather see it?

[ He blinks in surprise, then shakes his head. ]

No. I trust you.

[Intensity just looks at King for a moment, hand trailing down his jaw.

And then with a shake of his own head, he plucks the second rose from King's grasp, placing it over King's other ear. The metal twists much like the first, curling around the back of the ear to keep it in place but also fanning out like wings at the corners of his vision.

The third rose is taken and pressed against his forehead, a little cool to the touch as it is used the bridge the other two gold pieces.]

[ He traces his fingers along the new formation for a moment, curious--

And then his breath catches. ]
