ANYWAY!!! REQUIEM. It's Complicated™
King had a good impression of Req right out the gate just because she was chill and had a good sense of humor and was easy to be around. Her memories are fuckin wacky but she always took it in stride and had a good sense of humor about them, and also was very open about them? She didn't shy away from talking about them or sharing them, which I think made him feel closer to her in some way, because it seemed kind of like a show of trust? So before the trial rolled around he solidly considered her to be in the "off-team friends" category.
And then the trial rolled around and everything was bad forever.
King was very direct about the fact that it was a big fuck up and he regrets all the hurt he caused, but he realizes there's no way that makes up for anything and doesn't really expect forgiveness from Req for any of it. She has the right to be mad!!! IT WAS AWFUL. And he was genuinely incensed that she Nightmare Visioned him and Mars, but moreso that she attacked Mars when King was clearly trying to take responsibility. So he was mad about that, but it wasn't really the kind of anger he could justifiably hang onto for long when he knew that he was 100% in the wrong on all fronts anyway.
So from that point onward he was just trying to be respectful of the fact that Req had every right to be angry and not trust him at all and decided to be as supportive as he could be while also being respectful of her space. Which is a tight rope to walk, and he has no idea how successful or unsuccessful he really was, especially because she does confusing shit like. Approach HIM during the kissing game to SADLY CUDDLE ON HIM FOR A WHILE and then sulk away, and then actively antagonize him and then sulk away, and in general just ??? He doesn't know what to do with you, Req, you're perplexing.
And then Hunger Games.... WHEW. I should say most of this has been resolved now that he spoke to her BUT FOR A MINUTE THERE he was feeling max hurt and betrayal. Because as he admitted to her, he still thought of her as a friend even if he knew that he shouldn't (because he likes her! and cares about her! and her being mad doesn't really change those two things for him!), so dealing with the trauma of Yugi being killed and then Req (apparently) helping to gang up on fucking him up/killing him to whisk away the murderer (who he considers to have been entirely in the wrong) was like... a lot to process. If Req wanted to 1v1 him fairly in the game or something he wouldn't even have necessarily taken that personally, because seems legit - but the way Boatgate went down just felt so dirty and malicious.
Since Req made clear that she wasn't actually in on the part that was CLEARLY AIMED TO KILL HIM/SERIOUSLY FUCK HIM UP he's not feeling that anger so much anymore, because now he knows that she panicked and didn't quite know what to do and is kind of a dumbass. Most of his lingering anger is still just knee-jerk over being Nightmare Visioned, but he realizes this is an issue he has that he hasn't communicated to anyone, so he's giving her the benefit of the doubt now that he's told her he doesn't want anything more to do with it. (If she ever does it again he'll be fuckin pissed tho.) And then of course there's the matter of her CHOPPING HIS TEAMMATE TO PIECES, and he's still pretty mad about that tbh, but it's clear she regrets it and her answer to "was it for revenge?" appeased him somewhat, because it made clear she's probably not going to be constantly gunning to chop up his teammates in the future. So. Whatever This Is Fine.
So now there's just some lingering "8/" over Hunger Games stuff, and also some conflicted feelings about being mad and also still feeling guilty about trial things, and idk maybe they should just decide they're even now and start from there. He still cares a lot for her and likes her and wants to be her friend, but kind of isn't sure if that's something she's interested in at this point. So. Awkward. Unsure how to proceed.

OVERALL Req mostly got out most of her feelings about the trial and hunger games between when it happened and when she came to talk to HSS and apologize. She's not USUALLY someone who bottles up a lot of anger or upset? She might hold onto it for a while and explode about it from time to time if it doesn't get resolved at some point soon after happening, but she's not really someone who takes all those feelings and puts them away and ignores them until she can't anymore, and while she was bitter about the trial she mostly got it out of her system by the time mistletoe game came around, and wanted that to be a sort of healing point for the HSS's she cared about? And as far as she was concerned, it was working, because both King and Prim seemed receptive to her talking to them again and seemed to want to interact with her after (or at least prim did).
More specifically she was harboring a lot of betrayed feelings wrt King that she really didn't know how to handle? Because she's trying to adhere to "keep games in games" and "Zrael doesn't do regrets" and while that doesn't necessarily apply to this situation she wanted to try to put things past her but emotionally couldn't... really handle it. That King didn't specifically do anything to her but that he sat there and let his teammates hurt her and kill HER team and accuse them of not being good enough to even win a contest about how cohesive a unit is when their unit is one of the singularly most cohesive groups she's interacted with... And she's never felt like, betrayed, before? Not until Mars charmed and killed her during HG, which is a whole other can of worms, so it was still a very new and raw feeling and like the one time she's actually cried over something in Imeeji so far.
As it stands right now, after apologizing and talking to HSS, she's mostly... wary, confused, uncertain with regards to how they view her. She isn't too worried about Hurricane-- she sees him as completely separate from all of this, emotionally-- but the others are kinda... in a weird zone. She doesn't actually believe she's been forgiven much at all, so much as she thinks King and Mori probably just want to avoid getting into something of a revenge cycle(not that she's perpetuate that, anyway; the likelihood of her lying down and taking being killed even if she thinks she deserves it is very, very low, and she would absolutely fight to stay alive). She doesn't think she deserves to be forgiven, but while she talks a big game about not caring how others think of her and doing her own thing sometimes, at heart she's very much someone who wants to be cared for and acknowledged by people she likes or looks up to. This is why I mentioned a while back that King was in a similar position to her father, now that she remembers him; she's bitter and upset and a little angry but more than anything she just wants him to care about her. And similarly, post-trial, she felt like he'd dropped the ball HARD on being someone she could lean on. But post-HG, unlike her with her father, she no longer believes he's much in the wrong at all and everything from this point has been entirely her fault.
Mostly she's just going to be avoiding HSS as a whole if she can help it, since she pretty much assumes they won't want anything to do with her.
WHATS KING'S OTPS THO

So when Mars first arrived, King was kind of ready to slamdunk him straight to hell for being intentionally difficult and dismissive of everyone around him who was genuinely just trying to help. He was super protective of HSS already by the time Mars arrived so Mars being flippant/dismissive about them got his hackles up like WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, KID? Just very unimpressed, in general, but let Mars do his own thing because he recognized that a feral cat isn't going to do something because you tell it to. You just have to wait for it to be the cat's idea.
And then the tournament game happened and I guess that made it the cat's idea.
King still wasn't quite sure of his opinion on Mars by that time, but their morbid Moment™ in endgame that was like "haha we just got tortured and we're traumatized, is that the worst you can do??? fuck the Producers amirite" was pretty much the turning point. It was also the point Mars started trying harder with the team in general (including wearing his goddamn clothing), which was another boost to King's estimation of him.
It's pretty much all been upward from there, so at this point King is genuinely fond of Mars and is actually pretty grateful for his presence on the team, because Mars feels the most.... similar to him? in some ways. He wouldn't know to actually think of it this way, but he appreciates that there's another Bad Child on the team and it's not just him being a kinda terrible person by himself. It's why he never judges Mars for his dumb shit, because a lot of the time he's of a similar mindset anyway, and even when he's not he can completely identify with "hm my morals on this seem fucked and I'd rather not get judged for it, but I'm also not gonna stop, sooo...." So it's basically the comfort of knowing there's someone similar to him around who won't judge him AND might just back him up on his dumb, dumb shit (see: "Hey let's break into the Casino to get Hurricane back if it takes too long" "seems legit") He thinks it might go both ways, too, since Mars really didn't hold onto any anger after the whole trial clusterfuck, even though King fully expected that he would. He was surprised and very grateful.
The fact that Mars is always down for a fight also helps. KING LOVES ANYONE WHO WILL FIGHTDATE HIM, BY DEFAULT. That's just how it be. Thanks for always being a great fight date, Mars.
tl;dr went from wanting to throw Mars in the trash to loev Mars

CURRENT STATUS: MIFFED!
But starting from the top - King has always been intrigued by Intensity, basically since their first meeting. It started because every-fucking-body around him was like "hey you should meet this Intensity guy" (probably for their own lulz, let's be honest), and then Intensity IMMEDIATELY came on strong in their first conversation. King actually had a bad impression of him for a while - Intensity only ever shows King his most condescending, acerbic, nasty side, and takes stances on things that King just can't/won't agree with. And because it's Intensity, his manner of debate is telling you your opinion is Bad and Wrong and you're an idiot. So right off the bat his feathers were kind of ruffled, and Intensity immediately laying out his "TAKE OVER THIS PLACE AND REMAKE IT IN MY OWN IMAGE" plan when King already had a bad impression of him was like... hmmm...... seems like bad civ. So very early on, around the time Intensity was like "I'm going to test you first", King was also silently testing Intensity even though he never said as much. Testing him for: am I going to have to overthrow and kill you if you become the next scourge upon this cursed place?
So the next few weeks/months were mostly King going along with whatever bullshit came up between them, trying to suss out Intensity's character better and never quite succeeding because: see above about how he always presents himself to King. He's talked to others about Intensity (Maki, Cobalt, Nine-Nine, Angel, maybe some others I don't remember) and gotten mixed answers. Some people think King's paranoia is hilariously unfounded, while others (Nine-Nine) were like [thinking emoji] about it, and still others were like "Intensity is the nicest guy ever who helps me all the time and is very kind."
King: ????????
He can't really picture it, but he's heard of it from several people and seen the evidence secondhand (Intensity making Nemesis a new arm, for example), so it's clearly not all bullshit. And to be honest this kept him from just writing Intensity off altogether, that there's clearly more to him than he's showing King. It just makes King's job of feeling him out more difficult, but that also makes him more determined, because: Atem vs. puzzles and challenges.
As of now King is still testing him, and his paranoia about Intensity In Power hasn't gone away, but it has eased somewhat. King still takes major issue with some of Intensity's stances - particularly his opinion on who's expendable and what are acceptable sacrifices - but he's willing to work with him for now while their goals are still aligned. He meant it when he said they need Intensity if they want to succeed, and he does see Intensity as absolutely integral to this effort. But if he has to overthrow and murder Intensity, he will. But... he really doesn't want to, which leads into the more personal side of things.
Against all better judgement, King likes Intensity. He's proud and arrogant and competent, and always rises to whatever challenge is thrown at him. King respects that - obviously - but also enjoys it because it always means a good time. He gets a thrill out of their challenges and back-and-forth, and he enjoys wringing out any and all reactions he can get from Intensity. Intensity genuinely challenges him and always keeps him on his toes, which is something King basically NEEDS in order to be happy at all. He wouldn't call them friends at all, but he would absolutely call them rivals.
And then there's the fact that he's insanely attracted to Intensity. OBVIOUSLY. Even though he has challenge and escalation problems, he absolutely would not have let mistletoe go where it did if there weren't something else besides competitive pride simmering under the surface. He hasn't examined it too hard because 1. he's pretty sure it doesn't matter and 2. he has no idea what to do with Intensity anyway so there's no sense considering it too hard. The entire encounter he really hasn't let himself overthink because he assumes it meant nothing, and Intensity never really making any moves to follow up on it kind of confirms it for him. (But there's also the nagging in the back of his mind that some of that didn't feel entirely shallow or devoid of feeling, and he was careful about avoiding Intensity's very obvious vulnerabilities and insecurities specifically BECAUSE it wasn't entirely devoid of meaning, BUT ALSO STAY BACK BRAIN-SATAN.) Would he be interested in things going down that path? Yeah, probably. But it's not something at the front of his mind as a serious possibility because, looping back around to: MIFFED!
Intensity's sudden weird swing in behavior since that memory thread is really bothering him, since their comfortable (but still exciting/challenging) give-and-take has morphed into something not at all fun or comfortable and actively distressing for both parties. Intensity murdered the fuck out of him and didn't even enjoy it! And won't even gloat about the victory! And runs and deflects when King tries to confront him! IT'S ALL BAD AND WRONG! INTENSITY WHAT HAVE YOU DONE. I made a whole plurk about this so I won't go on and on about it, but King is definitely going to try and figure out what it is he seemingly did or said that caused the issue, because he can't work with this AND he can't avoid Intensity, so it needs to be solved.
And hilariously, none of this even touches on their shared past - which Intensity loves bringing up even though King basically NEVER does, knowing Intensity hates it. (Get your shit together, Intensity, who's the one obsessed with their past here?) I've said it in a few places, but King has enough memories to know there's some element of Destiny going on between them - this is the third place/lifetime/universe they've been thrown together, and he absolutely believes there must be a reason for it. No matter what shape his relationship with Intensity takes - friend, enemy, something else?? - he knows Intensity is Important and so there's no way he can overlook this relationship, even if he wanted to. He still wants to unravel exactly who they were to each other in the past, but it's not nearly as high a priority for him as their current and future relationship, whatever shape that takes. So despite all of Intensity's groaning and whining about THE PAST!!!!, King's actually extremely forward-looking about everything.

Kissing game fucked with him hardcore though - no matter how much he enjoyed it and tells himself it was just a game. Because they both went all in to try and get under each other's skin and though they called it a draw, both of them know that King CLEARLY won that round. King walked away from that encounter with new knowledge of at least two of Intensity's vulnerabilities/insecurities and Intensity didn't feel like he learned much about King at all. Not anything that can be used against him anyway. So the playing field feels very skewed in King's favor now, and Intensity doesn't like that. And even in spite of his disadvantage, Intensity wants to do more with King which just screams DANGER DANGER DANGER. This is going to blow up in his face.
And then came King's next memory. So I specifically picked DSOD "flesh is a prison for the soul" crazy marketing speech as Intensity's first memory because Intensity is allergic to memories, so I needed something that conveyed the importance of his brother, his company, Blue Eyes, and Atem in case he never took memories again. So he knows that he's obsessed with whoever is "the king sleeping in the puzzle", but he didn't know who that was because 1) he was dead at the time of King's first memory and 2) he is currently residing in the beautiful state of Denial where he wasn't going to think about it too hard. But now he has to, and he has to come to terms with the fact that memory!Intensity had spent months of labor, potentially millions/billions of dollars, and was holding a tournament as a smoke screen for King. All while watching a memory of Yugi and King being sickeningly sweet together.
I'll take insecurity and jealousy for 500, Alex.
And in typical Intensity lashing out, the only way to get rid of bad feelings is to bury them so they don't exist and can't hurt you anymore. So conveniently Hunger Games rolls around, they start in the same area, and they have a standing duel agreement. Perfect. Let's use that. And because Intensity and King are Intensity and King, they certainly don't pull their punches (as shown by Intensity shooting him point blank right out of the gate). But then King just. wouldn't. die. He wouldn't even slow down. He was just this immortal righteous being that luckily missed all of his strength rolls so Intensity didn't die immediately. So Intensity made sure to END THE DUEL by whatever means necessary (aka tossing King into the abyss).
And then felt like shit afterwards. Good job. Gold star. Nothing productive came out of Intensity murdering King in a death duel.
Now what? Well obviously the answer is to retreat, regroup and pretend that no emotional or existential crisis ever occurred. And Intensity is really at a lost of what his next move should be. And he's not a person who shares a lot so he doesn't even know who to get advice about this stuff. His trust levels/understanding of how relationships work are also real low now (get to that in a second) so that doesn't help much either. Luckily, the one person who he trusts completely has come to his rescue. Bless Angel, really. And though Intensity did not actually provide 1/10th of the context needed to understand the situation, she replied with "If things happens over and over, it is because that is what we choose each time." So looking back on his amnesia life and bad decisions - Intensity chose to marry King in the Wedding Game, he chose to take things as far as he did in the kissing game, and he has also acknowledged King as someone who has enough similar goals that he wants to ally with up until at least end game. So now he has to figure out what that means and take responsibility for his actions. And he's going to decide what Intensity wants from his fucked up relationship with King, and fuck whatever Kaiba wanted. Screw that guy - he was an idiot.
Stayed tuned on what that looks like because fuck if I know what that is at this point in time.
Re: Trust and understanding people: Running parallel to the King stuff is also this internal conflict of Intensity versus friendship/allies. Obviously, the garbage that comes out of his mouth is that he is required to look after his unit because they are his unit, he has employees that are useful, and has not-romances that are fun and stress-relieving (most of the time). And he was pretty comfortable in his view of allies against a common goal and thought that the people he worked with had the same sort of understanding. Which turned out to be not to be quite true. Especially in the last round of Hunger Games. Did he expect Mori to protect him - absolutely because that is the type of person Mori is. But he did not expect him to defend him so hard against Yugi. And then Yugi accusing him of hiding behind Mori hit a sore spot because "Isn't that what allies do?" People have been on his case about treating people better and Intensity does treat Mori with as much respect as he is actually capable of, but then is still called out for having allies. And it's very much like damned if you do and damned if you don't in Intensity's eyes -- because if he loses then it's because he is a lone asshole with no friends and if he wins with allies he's using them. ?????
This was further exasperated when he talked to Nemesis post game (which has been a habit of theirs from day 1 and she was the first person to call him a friend) and she was confused about whether or not they developed this habit because he was checking on his useful people/investments. And he was so upset by that accusation that he attempted aggressive Intensity style friendship, which just made her think (probably correctly) that the headshot was fucking with his brain more than he was letting on.
So this reconciliation of "can Intensity do allies" is probably going to tie pretty closely into how he attempts to approach King, so yeah--- very rambly. Thanks for coming to my talk I guess. And whew. We'll see how their next conversation goes (which will hopefully be soon. He just needs a cooldown period and I need to finish a couple threads).

King's liked Maki basically from the first time they talked on Dissonance chat - she's frank and to the point, which makes her easy to talk to because King is ALSO very frank and to the point. He knows when he talks to her that she's going to say what she means and not obfuscate or make shit up. This also makes it easy to trust her, in some capacity - he hasn't really opened up to her about much, outside of some of his 8/ 8\ about Intensity, but that trust is why he'll be willing to hit her up about his current Intensity issue.
And then I think the first time they actually met in person was the wedding game, which is HILARIOUS, and it is in the back of his mind that they ended up getting married off because Maki saw a description of him and thought "oh, hey, it's my boyfriend." On the one hand: yikes. On the other: hmmmmmmm. She was a good sport about the whole thing, which he appreciates, and the wedding crashing made it clear she also has a deadpan sense of humor underneath her usual demeanor, which he also appreciates. And during the kissing game things were kind of awkward in a harmless way, but not in a way that left him with any bad feelings? Which is good. He was trying to toe the line between "not rudely disinterested" and "still polite" and didn't know how, which he told her, and she didn't make fun of him for it, so. Bless. Basically, they get along well and their personalities seem to mesh easily.
He doesn't have any romantic interest in her or anything like that, but he DOES care for her and worries about her wellbeing, and would be willing to help support her if she ever indicated she needed or wanted that. But he's also not likely to push things, either. That said, he IS figuring out that there's more going on with her than he realizes (especially with her being like "you know I'm bad at emotions and had a bunch of breakdowns, right?" "n...NO???") but. Oh well. W-WHAT CAN YA DO!
TL;DR HE LIKES MAKI A LOT!! Would like to get to know her better but doesn't want to push her either. So he's just seeing how things for for now.
So what all did Maki take away from her late-night chat with the internet about relationships?
no subject
1) She is in fact annoyed by the way a lot of people deal with relationships. The majority of people answered with wishy-washy platitude answers, which she hates, and did so even when she was like "okay but you literally cannot have romantic relationships with infinite people, there has to be SOME maximum." Or they'd genuinely argue that you could have relationships with hundreds of people because something something harems, to which she was like...... if you're counting that we have very different definitions of romance.
2) A gave the most real answer, which was 5, with some supporting research. Which actually seemed pretty reasonable. Perhaps there is a reason she likes A.
3) She got two things that a person could consider "real answers":
a) "As many as you feel like you can handle." Which made her reflect on the fact that she absolutely did not even feel like she could handle dating even one person when she started dating both Joker and A within the span of a couple of days, and she was just like FUCK IT WHATEVER I DON'T CARE IF I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING I'M RIDING THIS TRAIN TO THE END!! Which leads into the second thing—
b) "Talk through things and try things out, probably one person at a time, and see if it works." Which really made her feel like she was asking the wrong thing to start with, because she ended up repeatedly asking the same Real Question, which was "How do I tell if it is not working??" Which meant she thought more directly about whether her relationships were working.
4) Sanguine's answer to the Real Question was actually very impactful to her. Which was initially "It's not working if it's taking time away from your other relationships" and then when she was like "what if I don't have other relationships" (because she's bad at friendship and keeps dating everyone she's close to) he offered "when it takes time away from you doing things for yourself and you end up just defining yourself by your relationships."
The latter statement really hit a chord with her, because self-definition has been a huge thing for her, and is in fact why she got close to both Joker and A in the first place. But lately all her time has been spent trying to Make The Relationship Work, or introducing herself to people and the first thing that comes up is her 2.5 boyfriends, etc. So she definitely felt like her relationships were taking over.
WHICH IS A PROBLEM EASILY SOLVED. RELATIONSHIPS TERMINATED. DONE.
...That's pretty flippant but she does actually feel better overall having broken up with them. She still feels a bit at loose ends, because like she just said to Req, she has actually been dating them longer than she hasn't and having zero boyfriends suddenly is a shock. But she also feels like she has the space to figure things out for herself better now, and things have been... alright... with A and Joker despite being kind of awkward, so... doing okay for now.
What are King's thoughts on each of the units?

So you know how, in canon, Atem emerged from the Puzzle with three thousand years of shadow trauma and full amnesia under his belt, and no idea what was going on, but took one look at Yugi and decided he was going to literally murder anyone who ever hurts him?
Yes. That. It's that.
King loves Yugi unconditionally. He just immediately knows this is the case, even if he couldn't coherently articulate why. He just does, and the memories they've both gotten back so far really just hammer that home more. It's clear that their relationship is "I would do anything for you and your happiness/wellbeing." So King has sort of seamlessly fallen into that in Imeeji.
That said, they're kind of in this weird spot where King knows how important Yugi is to him, but is also still actually getting to know him. What is Yugi's favorite color? Food? What are his pet peeves? What does he prefer to do in his free time? How does he feel about certain moral issues? What are his priorities? So it's like - having your soulmate dropped into your lap, but still needing to go through the most basic relationship-building motions while already knowing what the outcome is.
Through the progress they've already made on that front, King can tell they don't 100% see eye-to-eye on some things - like Yugi's adverse reaction to his death duels, and Yugi insisting he would rather stay here where they could actually be together than go home where they can't. King knows the former isn't going to stop, and he just can't approve of the latter, no matter how selfish he wants to be. So these are things on the back of his mind, and the second issue especially he knows will need to be addressed properly at some point, even if that point is "we're literally about to step through the door to go home." But it's inevitable. He is DREADING it.
And in that same vein, despite King steadfastly taking the "morally correct/responsible" stance (ie, oh my god Yugi don't say you want to be tortured in Hell forever just because I'm here), he does share Yugi's feelings on the matter for the most part. Though he avoids contemplating his own state of existence back home too much (because lbr it's... horrifying...), he's 90% sure he has no real long-term future there, if he's not properly dead already. The hints have already been dropped just in the few memories they've gotten back so far: once he gets his memories back and fulfills his destiny or whatever, there's nothing left but to die. So he's very, very aware that their time in Tokyo-F might be the only time they're going to get, and it fucking sucks, because this is Hell and everything here is always terrible, but... this might just be all they have. So he wants to make the most of it and do whatever he can to protect Yugi and make him happy. HE'S PRETTY SURE HE'S DONE A PISS-POOR JOB OF BOTH OF THOSE THINGS SO FAR s-so that's something he's currently torturing himself about, but since he's himself he's just going to keep trying no matter what.
All that said, King is also aware that Yugi's arrival means people could easily exploit/hurt Yugi to get at him, and that scares the shit out of him because he knows he's pissed some people off. And losing Yugi in the Hunger Games while he was standing RIGHT THERE and couldn't do anything was definitely a worst nightmare scenario made real; he's going to be traumatized by that for a long-ass time, and it's made his hyper-protectiveness even worse. If anyone made a move on Yugi, he'd send them to Lilith, game or no game. Sprinkle some torture on top while we're in there.
On a more mundane level, he loves Yugi's light-heartedness and optimism and admires him for his courage and kindness. Yugi is obviously the person he trusts the most and is most comfortable around. He's willing to show more vulnerability with Yugi than he would anyone else, and lets his walls drop whenever they have the opportunity to be alone. THAT SAID, even then, he's not entirely forthcoming with Yugi about things - sort of like how in canon, he tried to shield as many of his issues from Yugi as he could so as to not worry or burden him. He's up to the same shit in Imeeji, not totally walling himself off from Yugi but still being careful to present Yugi with enough constant confidence and strength that Yugi doesn't burden himself with King's issues. Stuff like - being traumatized by his abyss death, or extremely distressed about things going on with his team, etc. etc. It's not that he doesn't trust Yugi with those things, it's just that he thinks it's his job to support Yugi and never thinks about it being the other way around.
Also definitely has some big fat dokis and wants to kiss him a lot but is forcing himself to be good about this.......... DO THIS PROPERLY, IT'S TOO IMPORTANT TO FUCK UP!!!!!! But he loves wringing reactions out of Yugi and is very aware that Yugi is a dangerous and formidable opponent in his own right on that front. He expects he's going to get owned when he least expects it and is thoroughly looking forward to it.
That's a lot of rambles and idk how coherent any of it was since I ramble a lot on disco anyway, but if there's any more specific things you want deets on I can provide.
