[ They begin to drop in altitude, finally, as they approach the arcade. ]

I can’t say I have ever played an arcade game before, so I’m not sure how well I’m going to do, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to try to make it difficult for you. As if I want to make you life easy. [ laughs. ]

[ King drops him roughly, wings flapping as he brings himself to a stop in front of the arcade. ]

You're up against the worst possible opponent for it.

[ King lifts an eyebrow as he's shoved, but he's dignified and mature(?) and doesn't shove back. ]

[ and he doesn't know what the fuck is going on in this arcade. it's confusing and things are screeching and flashing at... it's a lot to take in. he's just going to start walking around and looking at the various games. ]

[ King follows wordlessly behind him, looking infuriatingly serene ]

[ King wastes no time dropping into one of the seats. ]

[ drops into the car beside king. he’s going to have to figure out what to do relatively fucken quick if he’s going to stand a chance. ] Let’s get this show on the road.

[ As King floors the pedal and starts the race, taking off down the track. ]

[ it takes him a little bit longer to figure out what the fuck he's supposed to be doing, but as soon as he sees king put the pedal to the metal he does the same and takes off after him. ]

[ King chuckles a little, but unfortunately for Mysterious Hot Boy, he knows all these tracks by heart -- including their shortcuts.

It's not difficult for him to keep a healthy lead. ]

[ yeahhhh. he has never played this game, and doesn't knock jack shit about the tracks, so he just follows the standard path like the scrub he is. he does steal a glance at king's screen at one point to see him taking a shortcut and he's like, this bitch, in his head, so he's definitely going to try that next lap... not like it's going to help much. ]
